Talitha's words bore even more hostility than Sage had felt, and she couldn't help but stand nervously, glancing between the muscular gray man and her petite older cousin. She only hoped that Talitha would be wise with her wording; they were not home, after all.

Still, he displayed no aggression, and Sage began to relax. He remarked about their travel, which truthfully wasn't all that far to the starry-eyed girl, and she gave a vague nod. She frequently traveled much farther. "Of course," she replied complacently; if Nayru was around she would have heard the call. Sage knew that. She took this to mean that he hadn't known of her whereabouts previously, and that was just fine. The child of the forest would only hope that this outreaching leading would come to them. She wanted so badly to be able to lay rest to the unnecessary rivalry between them.

Finally, the dark Dahlian introduced himself, the slightest accent noticeable as Sage's ears paid more attention to his words. Saluce Tremblay, he said. Sage smiled and glanced to her roan cousin, in hopes she might be more pleasant, this time. Gently, she held up a small hand before the man, her head bowing ever so slightly in introduction. "Sage River Lykoi. A pleasure, mister Tremblay," she said pleasantly, golden eyes rising to meet his briefly. "What news of Dahlia, how do you fare?" Her voice lifted; she was truthfully interested. If Nayru's note had been any indication, this place would be run differently, now. They could get along, perhaps, now.
