Nayru remained pleasant and calm, even as Talitha took her leave with words still angry at deeds committed long ago. Simply the tiny creature nodded and bowed her head, allowing the Inferni woman to feel her emotions. That was her natural right and Nayru knew that no amount of apologies or presents could convince one to feel anything they were not ready to. If the time came when Inferni was ready to forgive, and perhaps even apologize themselves, Nayru would be waiting, but she also knew better than to hold her breath. A neutrality seemed the only option, and more than ever it seemed they had at least achieved that. Inferni knew that the Soul line was gone, and that Dahlia de Mai was no longer a player in that silly game of war and peace. This was enough for now, and perhaps enough for however long the two clans were forced to coexist in the same lands.

Sage took her leave hurriedly, chasing after her sister, but her kind words left a glow in Nayru's heart. Nayru like Sage, increasingly she reminded the lady of Razekiel and it was further proof that even in acidic soils such as Inferni kindness and good intentions could blossom.
