Mati had woken early and headed out to do some thing or another. Cambria liked it when they were able to cuddle in bed for extended hours, but they were both busy and had chores that needed tending to. Perhaps her mate was out teaching her little cousins how to hunt or other such essential skills. The Church fey had a way with pups that she greatly admired. She was not really awkward at all with them herself, but her mate had a true gift. Cambi's gift was helping to bring those new lives into the world, Mati helped them once they were here. Having a family was not something that had ever really occurred to the Marino, but she sensed that such thoughts inhabited the mind of her beloved. Unfortunately for the two of them, there was no way for them to conceive children together; the one thing their unconventional relationship lacked. Secretly Cambria worried that this saddened her mate, but she did not have the courage to breach such topics.
Enzo was perched on top of his cage preening while the Medicus sorted through the various plants and herbs she had collected the day before. Some would be kept as they were, some made into salves and pastes, and with some she wanted to attempt to transplant them to a garden near the manor. She would need to ask for Anu's assistance with this, but it would be much better if there was an organized and ready supply of the herbs she used most often. Both she and her sister could make good use of such an arrangement and she was certain with the Horticulturist's help it could be easily worked out. She even wouldn't mind helping Anu with her own garden that laid outside just outside the manor's walls.
The Marino had just finished sorting all the plants into their respective piles when she heard her named called softly outside. Cream-tipped ears perked up, recognizing the voice as her younger brother's. Cambi stood and quickly dusted the stray leaves and petals from her lap as she went and opened the door. Her healer's eyes looked over him briefly to make sure he hadn't come requiring her medical assistance, but he appeared in good health. "Hi Silvano," she said with a smile. She didn't get to spend too much time with her younger siblings, something she wanted to remedy. Now was the perfect opportunity to start.
