The young man gave a quiet laugh, eying the plants in the back and making an angry glare at them. Then he smiled at his sister lightly. It was hard not to be happy around Cambi, especially since she was one of his sweetest sisters. Well, they were all sweet, and Parker was sweet in her way, but Cambi was a healer and he supposed that was why he liked her so much. That and Artemis would probably laugh at him if he talked about this. Or maybe she would not, she had been so strange since she woke, so much not like herself. Maybe she would soberly look at him and not even make a quip about anything.

He flattened his ears at her saying she was safest inside the borders. He wished it were safer out and about, but at the end of the day, family was what you had left. And the Marino family was pretty big. But it was good she was doing fine, even though it was not nearly as good as great.

Silvano felt all sorts of awkward about his question, especially since it was out of the blue and not exactly like him to ask it. But the moment his sister gave her the description of how she felt with Mati, the youth gave a rather loud sigh of relief. Then he looked embarrassed promptly and felt his face heat up, even though it would be impossible to tell for anyone else. So whatever had been with Denver had been nothing but hormones? Maybe? "Oh well.. That's sweet, Cambi.. I'm glad for you," he meekly said while equally meekly smiling back at her.
