The store she had found lead her to the most magnificent things: shining jewels and sharp scissors. It was pleasing to see the items before her, in the cupboards and the drawers, so easy for her to take. Of course, she hadn't come for all of the items displayed and therefore only a few made it into the bag slung over her arm. Rings and things that would be placed into holes once created. They jangled about at the bottom of the leather satchel while Tlantli made her way back into the cool April air of Nova Scotia.
She crossed the street and made her way toward yet another store, disappearing inside as she heard the voice of a stranger. The hair at the back of her neck rose to stand on end. Red eyes found their way back into the world as she retraced her steps to the outside. In the distance, there was a silhouette, the silhouette of a traveler with rather large ears. A coyote. Her features twisted into a mask of both curiosity and distrust, arms crossing before her chest. She allowed his voice to echo into the ruined city, contemplating the chance to interact. Finally, a sigh escaped golden jaws. "Aye ahm here." Her accented voice was sharp in contrast to his own, if only because it rang of true Spanish.
