He was quiet -- very nearly disturbingly so. The sable-shaded woman had experienced such things previously -- some in the Atotoztli had sworn themselves to silence upon being rejected from the Xochitl sect of priests and priestesses, and still others had been naturally silent, at least to Eris. The hybrid's chartreuse green eyes regarded the man, suspicion shrouded in warmth. The sable hybrid watched his greeting curiously, her ears twitching to the resounding thump as his fist caught against his chest. Her eyes remained where he had hit himself for a moment before she met his eyes again, regarding him with that same curious warmth.
“Felix Tihomir,” she repeated, stretching her hand forward to graciously accept the rabbit, lifting it briefly and giving it little more than a cursory glance. She was more interested in him, though she would have Molcaxitl skin the rabbit and cook the meat, no doubt. “Is there a particular place you come from? You smell of only loneliness,” the sable hybrid said, trying on a more sweet mask. If he would not speak to her at all, that was fine, so long as he did not consider himself above speaking to her -- she preferred her men quiet, in any case. Their servitude was more important than their mouths, after all. It would suit her much better if Larkspur knew how to shut up like this this one seemed to.
