WC: 269 Sorry for the slow response, been a hectic week.
The sky was filled with vibrant colours of oranges, purples and reds. She always wished night would be this pretty. She knew it would disappear soon but she also knew it would only break to patches of bright stars and silvery clouds. She focused back on the violet eyed wolf once she stopped speaking. Saxif had been glad she had not frightened the pup. She adored puppies, but hoped she would not have any of her own until later in life.
Very nice to meet you Amaranth Catori. Saxif often had a tendency to stand proud but lately it had been a more relaxed poise. The days of labour that had resulted in a slight meditative state of mind as she had worked hard to build up the barn of Pheonix Valley. It had her gleaming with a genuine pride as opposed to her past forced conceit drilled into her since birth. She felt more at ease with herself and felt stronger as though nothing could break her mood. She was happy lately and to have met a new wolf just added to cheery mood.
The ivory coloured wolf wagged her tail and smiled. Though you do not need an escort I feel I would love the company of a new friend. I am bouncing with energy so I ask humbly to walk with you home or to whatever destination you plan to arrive. It would help me draw nearer to much needed exhaustion. She still couldn’t drop the formal way of talking but she figured a bit of courtesy doesn’t hurt when wanting to make a good impression.
