The branches creaked eerily above the pale girl, as she carefully picked her way through the forest to make her way home. It was easy to say she was frightened, as a small creature darted in between her fast-moving legs. Small sounds of worry came from her lips, blue eyes wide as she walked in the night like a floating ghost. Giselle's blue dress trailed behind her, her hands clasped to her chest as she clung onto the silver necklace that hung there.

"Oh.. Tux, where are we? I want to go home," she whined, brushing past shadowed leaves. No matter how enchanting a forest was, nighttime was always spooky to the pale princess, attempting to find her way home with the help of her brave friend at her feet. 'Elle spooked herself, at first, as a thin twig snapped under her and she jumped backwards, her yelp echoing around her. Cream-tipped ears flattened against her curled auburn hair, afraid that something evil would jump out at her at any moment she wasn't paying attention.

But her worried were suppressed, if even for a moment, as Giselle took in a sharp breath as she thought she heard humming, complimented by running water. A genuine relief swept over her face, knowing if she followed the source of water through, it would eventually lead her to the Dreamer's lake, and therefore take her home. A sweet smile crossed her pure colored face, following the source of the bountiful sounds.

When she emerged upon soft, mossy ground, the moonlight showered over her lithe form and the serene scene before her. Bubbling streams all merged into a single, dark, magical pool, its surface sparkling with the enchanting light of night. Giselle knew, in that one moment that took her breath away, that even a foreboding forest had its enchantments.

In the silence, the girl nearly forgot about the humming, which came from another wolf across the way. It frightened her at first, as to who this stranger in the night was; but his serene, almost-silent tune made her stay frozen in the spot. "Oh, that's a very lovely tune," Giselle whispered in the other man's direction, who looked like a ghost among the moonlight, offering a small smile. Her dainty hands remained clutching her jewelry, awaiting for the other's reaction to her possible intrusion upon the beautiful place.
