Feeling of love

He had still been quite young when his mother had become pregnant again, but he clearly remembered all of it. Of course his father had done most of the work of taking care of Talulah, but Nayati had been eager to help too. He had been excited to be a big brother, especially since he had been the only pup to survive of the litter he had been born into; his sister had never even taken her first breath. That excitement was nothing compared to this though, and the Utina greatly mimicked the way his father had taken care of his mother during her last pregnancy. Beneath all his joy though was an underlying layer of fear. No matter how well he took care of Lili, things could still go wrong, their pups could still not survive, just as his own littermate hadn't. For now he buried those worries deep inside, only wanting to show strength and confidence for his mate.

Nayati chuckled at her words. "Let them be jealous. It is only meet that the mate of the Gadui Kanati eat like a Chieftaness while she is carrying his pups." Usually most everything he brought back from hunts was shared with the tribe, but during this time there was no guilt in keeping the best back for her. He was not doing it for himself, he was doing it for her and for the lives growing steadily within her womb. Speaking of those little souls, he could suddenly feel movement within the mound of her stomach and his eyes widened in wonder. The man's heart skipped in his chest as he grinned excitedly at Liliana. "I can feel them!" He placed the ducks on the ground and brought his other hand to feel her belly, taking in the squirms of their children.
