A New Kind of Song

+3. Why do you build me up~

It was no secret that the young girl liked to sing, but it still surprised quite a few when the melody that drifted into the air also drew creatures of all kinds to her.

Yet another song, coursing with runs of 'Ahhs' and 'Ooohs' instead of particular lyrics, found its way through Giselle. On this glorious day, she found herself heading to a different location, clothed in her short, buttercup colored garment. There was always something new to each day, and it seemed that 'Elle's wonder knew no end as she reached the destroyed city, nature long-since taking its grasp upon it. Upon seeing it on the horizon, it looked dreary, and in the girl's mind she believed there was nothing like the power of song to brighten everything up - even for a moment.

As the soft vocals hit the air, birds of all kinds seemed to draw near, and even perch upon the pale girl's arms and shoulders (much to the dismay of the stoat, who was forced to walk on the ground). They twittered along with her, and the young girl lost her sense of direction as she found herself among the ruined city. Engrossed in the repetition of several vowels, Giselle was unaware of a silent follower from among the shadows, walking along a rickety fence. She stopped, however, when the quiet stalker was noticed nearby and caused a few birds to fly away. "Oh no, please don't go dear friends!" Her tone of voice was laced with a childlike disappointment, turning her head to look around for the frightening source.

Just as her bright eyes settled upon the creature that was following her, a few feet away, Tux darted quickly into Giselle's leather satchel, his head visible as his threatening shrills filled the air. It frightened the girl, at first, attempting to settle her companion down. "Oh, it's just a kitty cat~" She remarked, kneeling down and urging the adorable black creature towards her. "What are you doing out here all alone? It's okay, I won't hurt you." Her tone was soft, comforting, smiling in the cat's direction upon the fence as her dainty fingers pat the ground before her.
