Time went on, birds chirped and scattered as he walked along the forest, animals shied away to the apex predator he was. For all Saluce’s faults his dashing good looks where only a side effect of the physical shape he kept himself in. He also had a bad temperament towards most individuals that didn’t show much worth. He urged his horse to stop for a moment as a hand went over his leather straps keeping his armor tightly secured to his arms. The spikes along the outer edge where for show as much as they were for close quarters. The warrior was massive and his size meant he wasn’t as fast as smaller advisories, so protection was his counter. If anyone was foolish enough to come in close they were gone, or not quick enough to avoid his hammer.
His ears twitched, hearing a roar off in the distance. It was normal for big cats to roam through the lands and Saluce had killed them before deeming them a thread to Dahlia, today would be no different. He’d go hunting, knowing his horse was looking for something interesting to do as well. So he urged it forward into a quick trot in the direction to investigate. No bear or cat would infringe upon Dahlian borders without consequences. But the cry for help was overheard as he was assuming it would be his normal day to day duty. Just what he didn’t want someone being harmed and his horse sensed the urgency and automatically darted off in the direction with a thunder of hoof beats.
It always seemed these damn cats never quit, his form came upon the scene and his presence hadn’t deterred the cat at all as he dismounted, hammer in hand. His running form a thunder in its own right before he reached the deep trench she was trapped in. It was a split second call, attack the cat or try to get her out first. It wasn’t much of a choice, his form fell down on his knees and he reached down grabbing a hand calling out to her slight frame.
