The Seneschal was starting to get quite concerned about what was going on with Anann. She was his friend, and now that he thought about it she had seemed rather distant lately. That, coupled with the incident the other day and how Anatoliy was acting concerned the subject of the warrior were painting a picture that the Aatte did not like one bit. It seemed that she had kind of cut ties with the Russian and that seemed out of character for her. Haven made a mental note to try and talk to her about whatever was going on, though he did not expect to find much success in that venture. The woman could be as closed off and stubborn as any soul he knew.
When the other man heard what had happened here in the stables just the other day he had a reaction that Haven could have easily guessed at. Anyone with any sense of propriety and honor would be appalled to hear of such an event, not counting the rage that surely would come to any man who held Anann so close to his heart. The description the Russo gave fit the perpetrator to a T and the more he thought about it all the more the heat in his own blood began to rise. "So you've already had the pleasure too." There was an unusual razor sharpness to the Knight's otherwise genial voice. "I will be watching him very closely. If he tries to strike her again, he'll quickly find himself without a hand." It was a promise, not a threat.
