A bit of a fail post.

It was common for the woman to twist hair about her fingers during many different times of the day, whether she be nervous or tired or simply bored, and it gave her comfort in the moment of her distress. Standing away from Dawali, she tried to keep things even toned and without sadness; of course, it was much harder than it seemed. Dawali came closer upon her words, his own worry mirroring his sister's. Her hair was released, creme-gloved hands grasping her elbows as she crossed her arms in defeat. She had come all that way, from one tribe to another, simply to tell her brother of the situation at hand, and now it was time for him to hear. With a gentle clearing of her throat, she sat at his side on the soft mattress, rubbing her nose uncomfortably. "There have been attacks on the Tribe, which has resulted in many deaths...on both sides. Doda was one of them." She spoke softly, leaving out the information about her mate, as she was not yet ready to come to terms with Kotori's loss.

Her arms rested lazily atop her knees as she waited for reaction from her brother, blue eyes focused intently upon the floor of the structure; unless the handsome Nayati had returned to AniWaya with similar news for Dawali, she was sure that it would be first news to the aging Kalona. "Agitsi is fine, though. As fine as any woman who lost their mate." She sympathized with their mother, understanding somewhat of the pain that was felt in the loss of a loved one. Ever so gently, the younger Amara leaned toward her sibling, hoping to offer some comfort as well as receive it.
