As the woman stepped aside, Leon's tail began to wag as well, his thoughts focusing on the here and now. It wasn't the time for his pessimistic pondering. His friend was here to begin their trip, and he wasn't going to disappoint her. His face was over taken with a genuine smile, and he stepped out of his room, nodding an affirmative. "Yes, I remember the path. It is north and east, right around Cour des Miracles. And as for getting there, well, a race would be interesting indeed." He replied, his tone becoming playful. "You should know, its close to fifty five miles to the city." He was up for the run, confident in his stamina. After all, it was what he spent most of his time working on. "You sure you'll be able to keep up, Grožio?" He teased, gently poking her shoulder as he stepped past her.

As he rolled his neck and arms, Leon heard the various cracks from his joints, making him realize just how long he had been sitting on his floor. Gathering the darker thoughts for later contemplation, the Timber grinned to Amata. He was certainly looking forward to their outing, though his cautious nature made him paranoid. He nodded to the eager woman and followed her to out of the house, shifting to his Lupus form once he made it outside. He stretched once more, yawning. He was more than ready to begin their little contest, expecting his companion was eager to try and out run him. "We can take it slow if you want?" He offered, giving her a chance to stop this if she didn't want to run the distance. He was competitive, yes, but not rude.
