Amata giggled at Leonard’s reaction to Amata’s playfulness and she jumped forward a little faster, ready for him to sprint at her, and he did, but she didn’t feel his playful nip back and soon she couldn’t see him. She was no hunter or she would have seen him slip into the brush, or even located him easily though the leaves or smelled him, but she did neither. She was confused as to where he could have gone, and instead of standing there, she started moving forward quietly sniffing. Still not catching his scent as he was down wind.

“Where did you go?”

She asked playfully, ready to leap away at a moments notice, like a deer in the middle of a meadow.
