Hey there! Hope you don't mind Siku meeting him on her way to the ocean. She has never met a coyote or a hybrid face to face before.

Siku had not planned to leave the borders of Dahlia today. She planned to help with the vineyard. However, Siku's trips were rarely planned and almost always last minute. When her golden eyes met with the sky that morning the Dahlian knew she was to journey that day. On her way out the door she glanced back to her bed longingly, though Saul was not there. He would probably expect her to still be there by the time he was done with his routines, as she usually was. Lately the white woman slept in nearly always. Today though, she was an ivory blur out the door. Today she wanted out.

Guilt tugged at her mind as she raced away from the cabin, but it did not slow her stride. The slender wolf was on a mission and would not stop until she got to the shore. At least, she thought so. An hour into her run there was a smell that she recognized, yet did not. Wolf, a small trace of it. And another thing. She was not sure what it was. It was not far off, though. Curiosity and caution quarreling inside her as she crept closer, golden eyes scanned her surroundings as she grew close to the source. "Hello?" Siku barked, bold but harmless. There was no tone or authority in her voice, only friendly questioning as she padded forward slowly. There was someone close by, that was for sure. She just had to find them. Then what? She didn't know, and the thought excited her. Made her heart beat, made her feel alive. It had been too long since she had been in a spontaneous situation.If the stranger were to be violent or ill natured, though, she would just have to do what she did best. Run away.
