She was still in shock after seeing Saul. Her former playmate had grown up quite handsomely and the young woman caught herself thinking about him in a way she had never felt before. It was a silly crush, she knew nothing would ever come of it, but the woman still couldn’t help how she felt. But Saul was in another pack, in his own universe that didn’t include her. It didn’t particularly bother her, either. She hadn’t any desire to attach herself to another being at the moment. She couldn’t help but ignore all those sorts of feelings, especially now that she was on her own. There was no room for anyone else in Magnolia’s mind.
The female paced slowly, optime feet taking her nowhere in particular. The highway beneath her feet was starting to absorb the Sun’s heat and that made it uncomfortable to walk on the black road. She looked down, letting a grin cover her face, excited for the coming summer. She was excited for the new season; it was the only one she hadn’t experienced yet. The beach was a stone’s throw away, but she chose to stay away this time. The girl sighed, stared at it a moment, then kept on walking. She was so lost and with no direction. The vagrant, like always, just kept on walking.
