Out of Character

Hectic and forgetful times, sorry >.<

In Character

A pale, ghost like hand rose to shade equally pale eyes from the blazing sun above, but still the sun shone down hard, heating his coat, obstructing his sight and causing the male great discomfort. Unlike many canines, the grey male despised summer and the never-ending heat it brought along with it; normally he would be sat in his nice shaded cabin, with a cool bottle of whatever alcohol he had managed to get his hands on at the time, drunk as hell and oblivious to the scorching heat and blinding sun.

Irritation surged through him and he reached down and rummaged through the leather bag hung from his shoulder, seeking a source of calm. Carelessly, he shoved the cigarette into his mouth and let the thing, instantly feeling more relaxed and calm; or at least, as calm as he possibly could considering how bright and cheerful it was. Moving forward, only stopping to blow out some smoke, he continued on his pointless and destination less trek, with each step he cursed his constant need to wonder and move about.

After aimlessly wondering around for awhile, the male had found comfort in the form of a beach; water and soft sand were more bearable than concrete and dirt that absorbed the heat and warmed his paws. Cautiously, he dipped one paw into the soft surface, simply testing its temperature before he made his way onto its soft, grainy area. Yet, right before he could run off and jump into the water and cool himself down, he spotted a lone, female off in the distance. Pausing on the spot, he stared longingly at the cool water then back to the female, repeating the process a few times until he decided to run after the female.

Moving, running and generally doing something that required a large amount of exercise left the pale male out of breath and so as he ran to catch up to the other, he felt his breath become heavier and the sun’s heat seemed to intensify; but the effort was worth it. Stopping just short from the other, keeping what he believed to be a respectable distance, he allowed his eyes to run over the other from head to toe, slowly rising to look upon the other, an approving smile sat upon his face.

“Well hello there beautiful”
