The hybrid nodded at Skoll’s words, his face brightened. So, this ‘pack’ was of other wolves, his family. The concept of a bunch of wolves living together was a bit beyond Red, who had lived the past few months alone and wasn’t able to remember anything before that. In a way, both Red and Skoll were similar in that manner. They were both pretty much loners.
Red nodded at Skoll. ”Sí, mala wolf come. Ellos attack Red cuando para dormir.” Red placed his hands next to his head as if he were sleeping on them. ”But now, Red safer. Yo duermo en tree, tree leaves hide me.” If he had had his cloak right then, he would have pulled it out. It really was ingenious, just a regular old sheet or something with leaves worked into the fabric. He covered himself with it when he slept, but there wasn’t enough room in his bag for it.
