There seemed to be nothing amiss to the scene painted before her. She had before her a prince, a golden prince with large ears, and his grand and powerful stallion. He spoke of her kingdom, and her eyes glossed over dreamily, wondering what it was like up north where he ruled. The ivory girl was without a doubt smitten, if not by the whole idea of being able to live out the fairy tale she had dreamed about. Inferni seemed like a wonderful place, but in reality it was far unlike anything she would ever see, if 'Elle were to lay her innocent eyes upon the charred world.
"Oh, I'd love to see it sometime," the girl mused aloud, her hands lightly moving up and down the horse's muzzle. Her fingers grazed his mane just as the golden prince with the sun in his eyes spoke once more, and she turned to look at him with a dazzling smile lighting up her face. A wind pulled at her long hair, causing dark strands to spill around her shoulders. "Well yes, I am. Have you ever been there? It is lovely," she said with an air of hope in her airy tone. Bright blue eyes moved to look into the dark ones of the prince's horse, and she smiled. "What is it like..? To ride him..?" 'Elle couldn't help but wonder, thinking of each prince that carried the princess on horseback into the sunset. Every word she had read described the feeling as free, invigorating, and close enough to being able to fly. But words were one thing, and living the dream was another.
