WC:638. Alright, I think this can be my last post. Feel free to pp her in your reply :3

Ideas began to fill her head, clouding her eyes with dreams. Giselle saw a castle among rolling grassy hills, with clouds framing the tall stony structure. Bridges crossed glittering lakes, knights riding gallant horses and ladies attending court with beautiful silk gowns. The ivory girl imagined all of this for the prince's land, and more, and he would soon rule it all. These thoughts alone made her heart skip beats, but it pounded in her chest all the same.

But the clouds in her head greyed, and rain poured down over her heart. 'You should stay here', she heard from the golden prince, feeling her dreams stomped upon as if they meant little. Eyes grew wide, but they showed the depths of sadness as she dared look upon Ezekiel. He was trying to protect her, as any prince would, his kingdom seeing war. Blinking, she slowly turned her head down and away, averting his face for fear that tears would threaten her. The princess had read about wars, and battles for a castle and the title of 'prince', or even 'king', but in every story that presented itself to her, the prince and their army cut them down and protected their kingdom and its people. What hurt more than his biting words was the fact that she would not see this kingdom of his... and possibly never see him again.

His next words jolted her, and suddenly her dreams floated upon clear skies once more. With the surge of emotion from upset to joyful, a few tears began to run down her face, but Giselle was mirthful all the same. "Oh! Really~?" Her smile was incredulous, and she looked back up into his amber eyes as if to find a hint of doubt in the depths that shone like the sun. The coyote began to explain how to climb atop his horse, and she brushed past the prince and started to drift over towards Viggo's side, until something clicked. Cream-dipped ears stood straight upon her head, and she froze in place. "Oh dear, I almost forgot.. My book." Giselle had remembered where she left her book, beneath the shade of a tree before the sight of the golden male with the large ears. Picking up the edge of her dress, near the bottom, the young girl dashed across the field and towards the book that lay among the earth.

Picking it up, she gently placed it back into her satchel. With the wind in her hair, the girl returned quickly, as if she were afraid he would ride out into the horizon and forget her. Before closing the distance between them, a few yards away, her steps slowed, and soon Giselle seemed as lost in her head as she was when she first opened the book that afternoon. Just as she approached the pair once more, 'Elle was twirling in the grass and humming the tune that she had carried earlier.

Stepping up towards the prince's massive stallion, the dark haired girl let the tune melt away as she turned towards him and nodded, a brilliant smile on her pale colored face. "Okay, I'm ready." Tux climbed upon her and buried himself into the satchel at her waist. The thought of the male pushing her away earlier had vanished, replaced instead with the hope that she might have time to persuade him otherwise. Perhaps she could convince him to show her his kingdom, his castle that rose into the sky, his steel-clad knights, noble steeds, and beautiful ladies. Giselle looked deep into the sunlight of his eyes with a wish, as if they were stars themselves. She wished with all her heart for the golden prince and the ivory princess to turn and ride off towards the north, where she believed all of her dreams would come true.
