Sorry for the bit of a wait J. Had to finish up with school and take care of some thing around my apartment. / Word Count: 550

Songan had to return home before going back out to check on Sanuye and make sure her pups made it home already. He gave a smile as he set his supplies aside. He had gotten some work done on Saxif’s bow and was sure he would be done with it soon. He would soon be done with the carving and would be able to work on painting the piece and adding on all of the accessories so that it fit the description that she wanted. The male took a moment to look over to his companion and headed out of his hut. He wanted to get back out and explore the area out on his own. He didn’t have much time for looking around since he was working and wanted to make sure his family was already when he had first arrived. He called for Rain who had wandered off as always and came to her master’s call. He smiled and climbed up onto her back. He was sure if he was going outside of the tribe, he was going to want Rain there so he would have a quick way back home in case anything happened. He soon made his way to the borders and began to head outside of them.

The rust wolf seemed to be traveling a bit further than he did this morning away from the tribe. The woods took over the area as he continued along. He was sure that this was a place he remembered coming through when he arrived to the AniWaya tribe. Songan’s golden gaze moved around as he had Rain continue forward. The sun shined through the trees and illuminated the ground. A smile came to his face as he soon found his way to the river. The water was clean and looked relaxing, though he dared not to get in. He carefully slid off his horse and sat on the bank of the river. It felt nice to relax here and get away from his work. He straightened out his braids and then turned his gaze back forward. He was sure glad that he came out here and would have to show this place the Sanuye as well. The male leaned back on the bank and stared up to the sky, though placed his arm over his head so that the sun would not get into his eyes.

Songan paused for a moment as his ear twitched. He was sure that he had heard something a bit down the river. He told his horse to stay where she was and that he would be back. He carefully reached for his knife and began to move along the bank. He paused as he noticed the deer crossing the water. Even though there was this prey here, he would not be able to bring one down with just a knife. His gaze moved to the other side of the bank, noticing another wolf He didn’t seem like he was from a tribe. He wondered if he was following the deer. Even if he was, why didn’t he just cross as the deer had. He backed away a bit so he didn’t frighten the prey when he called to the other wolf. “Hey. Are you following those deer over there?”
