It's ok. Smile / Word Count: 509 (5 points)

Songan was determined to bring the deer back over to the other male’s side of the river. He would feel awful if he was the cause of the other wolf’s family going hungry for the day. He brushed Rain gently as he was set on his quest. He could hear the hooves of the deer running back towards the water. His trick had worked and they were returning to the other side. A smile soon came to his face as he got his knife and returned to the horse’s back. He gazed to the other side to watch for the wolf’s expression. Perhaps now they would be able to catch the deer together, maybe even now more than one since they were both on the hunt now. As the rust wolf began to cross the water himself, he turned his gaze to the other wolf, getting a better look at him. It was like his fur was unsure of which color to be and was divided down the center. There were some brown parts to him, mainly in his hair, though he still looked a bit strange compared to the normal wolf. He stood on the bank, letting himself dry in the sun for a bit before getting back on his equine companion. His golden gaze moved back over to him as he said thanks and went after the deer. The male gave a small nod before following him.

The red wolf followed after the black and white wolf, keeping to the opposite in case he again needed to guide them in the male’s direction. He had his knife ready as they came in range of the prey. Perhaps he would be able to snag one for himself and take it back home to those living with him. His orbs gazed over as he watched the male make his move, getting off his horse and onto the back of one of the deer. The male put the grip of his knife in his mouth as he followed the other male’s moves, getting onto the back of another deer before they all were able to get away. He pointed Rain over towards the other horse and to wait there. He then used his back claws to keep his grip and grabbed the knife from his mouth. He would make a quick slash to the neck, sure that this would be enough to kill it. It was times like his he wished he had his bow. He soon got off the prey and looked over to the other wolf. He seemed to be having a bit of trouble. He came over and began to hold the deer’s legs together so that he would be able to take it down without too much difficulty. He offered his knife to the wolf to end the prey’s life. Once it was all done, he went over to his kill, picking it up and calling Rain over, placing it on her back. Looks like he was going to have a good meal this evening.
