The sun was nearing its pinnacle by the time Keese found himself back within the boundaries of the court. He had been out on yet another one of his fort nights away from the pack lands. Something that had been becoming more and more frequent as Anann remained as frigid as ever. Though as he walked along quite happily the golden woman was far from his mind. A satisfied smirk set on his face, thumbs hooked in his pockets as he strolled casually along. A lit cigarette held between two of his fingers. The madam he had met, and spent the night with, had been kind enough to give him a couple of the rolled treats as well as few spare matches to go with him. He was not an avid smoker, but at the moment it seemed rather fitting after the night he had. The smell of the other woman and the pleasures they had both partaken in clung to his fur, but he would find a stream to removed such evidence before he ever reached Anann’s cabin, knowing he had at least one stream to cross first, if he did not just simply take a dive in the ocean itself. Surely that salty scent would mask anything.
