As far as Keese was concerned, the cigarette had been sufficiently snuffed between the callous pad of his fingers and he had not given it a second thought since. He smirked a bit, becoming amused at how quickly this Russian always seemed so quick to anger and puff out his chest. But that was all it ever amounted too. He was a brute in size and strength, true enough, but he did have the heart for it. Or heartlessness rather, either way.

Ah, Anann. ”Anann has always had all her many sparring partners, so why shouldn’t I?” The slight smirk on his maw grew just ever so slightly. The woman always seemed to surround herself with males and yet always oblivious to how they pined after her as this man obviously did. Keese took great pride in knowing that he was Anann’s first, and only, for no one else was allowed to lay hand on her, the sparring ring was the one exception. As for his infidelities, he had never bothered to hide them from the woman. He was encouraged to spread his line and Anann was nothing but a barren bitch. One litter was not much promise of an heir for his own bloodline.

”You were one of them, weren’t you?” He was fishing now. Feeling cocky enough that there was little this bastard would physically do to him he casually took a few steps forward, closing the distance between them. ”Your cur stench was all over her when I got here.” He was not certain, but he had noticed her scent had changed since he had first arrived. He suspected this was not the only fellow she had cut contact with and it was hard to pinpoint what was missing. Anatoliy certainly wasn’t the only one that felt protective over the golden woman. He had learned that the hard way on more than one occasion. “At least she had the sense to toss you aside like the trash you are.” He shoved past the larger man, ”All the better if this fucking place burned to the ground.”
