Ehno had decided to settle down in a shady spot not far from the lakeside that morning, a small block of wood in one hand and his trusted carving blade in the other. It was idle work, something for his hands to do while he took the time to simply relax. The wooden block in his hand was beginning to take the form of a hawk, the rough shapes of wings starting to take shape. The Marino studied it, deciding what part he should focus on next. He was startled out of his reverie by a howl, one that was surprisingly close by. Ehno sat up, amber eyes turning in the direction of the howl. Well, well, looks like they had visitors today.

Ever curious, the male stood, brushed away some stray grass that clung to his fur, and began the trek toward the borders with his rough carving work in hand. A somewhat-brisk pace brought the Marino close to the nearby stretch of borderlands after some time. He set about trying to pinpoint the location the call had come from, but that soon proved to be quite an easy task. The sound of music was in the air, accompanied by a singing voice. He raised an eyebrow, but remained silent as he made his way toward the sounds.

What he found there was quite a surprise--what seemed like a whole little family and a number of hoofed companions. The Dreamer blinked at the sight of them, eyes widening once he realized that he knew one of them. "Krystalle?" he called out, taking a few steps closer. "What are you doing here?" Amber gaze strayed over the group, taking note of the pups, the horses, and supplies. It gave him quite a clear idea of exactly what they were here for, but the sight was a surprise, nonetheless.
