WC:000+ - Camilla's a bit too much of the main focus in this post. :/ Oops.
Camilla had somehow managed to sit mostly still through the ceremony, though when Jackson and Agony had made their appearances, she'd wiggled and yipped a bit to try and get the boy's attention. All she got was a smile, but after a quiet scolding from Teo, that seemed to have been enough, because after that, she stayed quiet. As Naniko began the ceremony, more and more of her words sparked questions into Camilla's mind; questions that were quietly asked towards Matteo...
...who grimaced each time. At some point, he'd scooped her up so she could see better, so luckily the whispers weren't as loud as they might've been. What is an Ose? She'd questioned after Naniko had mentioned it as being Jackson's rank. Teo barely took his eyes off of the going-ons up ahead, though he did bend his head down a bit to answer.
The first of the Firestarter ranks. After that, he'll be a Vetis, and then if he works hard, he'll be an Andras. To this, Teo's little pup of a sister mewled a soft 'oh', though she didn't understand a word of it. Next, Agony was named a Zepar, which she knew of just fine. Matteo was glad not to have to answer any more questions while their leader was speaking.
After the main ceremony was over, Camilla wiggled to be set down. Teo allowed it, leaving her to congratulate her friend in favor of remaining on the sidelines. She came running up to Jackson with a bright grin on her face, as soon as Naniko was done giving them their gifts.
Congratulations, Jackson! She yipped as she came near, tail waving in the air excitedly. Did you get the rank you wanted? Was it hard? She barely paid any mind to Agony or Naniko nearby, not bothering with the people she considered strangers.
Meanwhile, Matteo hung back, wondering whether or not it had been a good idea to let the little Trovato run free like that. He hadn't expected her to run up to Jackson and the others so boldly, making a fuss the entire time. He'd give her a lecture for it later, if Naniko showed any signs of disapproval. Speaking of which... he hadn't introduced the leader to his sister yet, had he? I should probably do that after the ceremony...
