She was very proud of the two pups. Naniko had wondered about them when they had first come to live in Anathema...if they would choose to stick around or if they'd wander away and join another group or live as loners. The fact that they had made it to adulthood and were still around was a very big deal to her. By this age her own children (her second litter) had wandered away from their birth pack of Phoenix Valley. She was glad to see that the pups were dedicated to Anathema and its ceremonies.
It was amazing how reflective the animals were that the pair had caught. She watched the group of wolves from the back of the gathering, now, giving any and all a small smile if they looked her way. Naniko was usually gruff and short with most everyone...but today was a good day, the day that Anathema gained two new adults. It would be a day of celebration.
