It was pretty today. Dandelions swept through the grass, ruffled indignantly by the springtime breeze that curled and coiled through the skies drenched in a luxurious sky blue. Birds chirped their mellow songs to the afternoon tide as insects lazily whirred in their own little worlds. Sentrosi on this fateful day, however, was not quite in a joyous mood. Thin and wary, the fire hued luperci staggered through lands. It had been countless months since he had last been in a pack, and naturally such lifestyles was taxing on such a body, and a mind. He underwent a few days without food, mostly due to the realization that he needed a pack, and therefore spent most of his endeavors rooting for one.
So here he was, and while lack of nourishment lagged his body behind, it heightened his senses acutely. Ever trigger seemed to set of a domino effect throughout his whole system. Ears perked readily, tail sloped low and daring, his body pressed sharply to the ground. He was ready. He could smell it, he could taste it, the scents of a pack were in the air and Sentrosi drunk them in greedily. They seemed fresh enough, and Sentrosi didn't want to escape his chances of meeting up with one of the members. Toeing that invisible line between mutual lands and pack lands, the wolf double checked his posture and hoped that someone might pass him by.
