New alliances were weak and easily shattered -- Anathema was proof of that, but the crack in Anathema that Salsola had slithered from had gone virtually unnoticed, Eris thought. When the old standards fell, this was when the populace took to heart the mortality of their various groups. Perhaps even one day the sable hybrid would live to see Inferni itself fall.
