The young, fair haired woman was scared. Salsola had been less than inviting to the mohawked teenager, and while she was still alive, her reputation didn’t really exist here. She was ignored by almost everyone except for the slaves, but Larkspur taught her to not acknowledge them. She spent her days floating around, learning new things about this new abode of hers. After the last supper, the young woman had been keeping to herself around the Ruins. She was new here and knew no one.
Today, though the woman went north. She hugged the western coastline, knowing she was safe in these lands but still wary of the strangers she called her packmates. She had yet to meet anyone outside of Eris and Larkspur. Secrecy was such a virtue here, and the young woman couldn’t figure out why. Was there something crazy going on behind locked doors that she didn’t know about? The family supper she attended recently freaked her out; Magnolia had no idea who Sirius was or what he was trying to accomplish here. The Boss seemed like someone she had no interest in crossing. The entire pack, for that matter, seemed like a group of terrifying individuals.
The girl stared out into the waves as they crashed around her. The rocky shore was barren and desolate, but the girl didn’t mind. Cour des Miracles seemed so far away now. She had no idea how far Niro was from her…. She would visit soon, or at least she hoped. The day was just beginning and the golden sun was slowly rising above her. Maggie sat on the dirt, optime arms wrapped around her legs in an upright fetal position. She wasn’t lost, exactly, but the mohawked woman didn’t know what she was doing here. Slender jaw sat upon her arms as she closed her eyes for a moment with a depressed sigh. She prayed things would get better soon.
