She saw Evelyn try and compose herself as they walked towards the table and she took a seat. She looked closer at her member - she seemed less disheveled now that she had gotten herself together, but Skye could still sense a shadow of unease on her face, and she wondered what was wrong, even though the woman herself assured her that everything was fine, and that she was feeling alright.
The female smiled as Evelyn mentioned that she was going to go to the other packs and try to trade something of her craftings. Skye thought that Evelyn's crafting was incredible; the trinkets that she created with her own hands reminded her of Shawchert, and how he had often created things and given them to other people, or used them in some way when he was still in the pack.
"That's excellent, Evelyn," she said earnestly. "Bangle and I have been trading a lot with the other packs - it's a good idea to keep the best relations with them as we can so that we can make new friends, rather than enemies," she said, her mind involuntarily going to Argul for a moment.
She shivered - she knew that he hadn't been a part of any pack before he came to Cercatori d'Arte, but she thought that perhaps if he had been, the whole thing could have been prevented with a warning from one of the other packs. She shook her head, trying to rid herself of those thoughts, and had a vague thought pass through her mind; perhaps the residue of the attack had troubled their members, and they still weren't over it yet.
"Nothing like that will ever happen again," she said with conviction and out loud, to her surprise. She glanced at Evelyn for a moment, then continued - she had already said that much. "The incident with Argul... that will never happen again. I won't allow it. We tracked him down, and Shawchert fought him, chasing him out and giving him fatal wounds; Argul was dead in a few days." She looked at the table, then continued. "He didn't get away with it, and neither will anyone else that tries to harm this pack, this family."
