Home sweet home

He watched her climb up the steps with a gentle smile noting the look of depression written plainly across her face. Apparently yet again his home was a home for those who had lost their way, him being maybe the number one offender of losing his own way. A flicker of hope danced across his mind for a moment before his ears flicked in annoyance at the hoof beats approaching. His eyes looked upon the same male he had called trash the day Nayru had told them all about the merger with a sneer. After his bitches little speech that day the title seemed fitting, and even as his words hit his ears and the smell of another pack drifted toward him he could only let a laugh escape his lips. Fear was not something the behemoth knew, his eyes looked him up and down finding his frame pitiful and his air of arrogance unfounded in anything other than some sense of right he must have felt he stumbled upon.

Slowly the man stood his laugh turning into a grin, not addressing him in any form other than his cold stare. Face still held in that grin but his eyes burning coldly, he had seen death before, and if this man decided he wanted to press the issue he’d see to it that this man’s eyes closed tonight forever.
