Familliar Stranger (AW)

Shawchert was reluctant to find Sky's house, but he did. He was scared of her reaction, though it shouldn't be so bad, he had put what he had to do in his letter. She would have gone after her own mother too if she were in danger.... wouldn't she? In any case the large brute, now littered with more scars, and looked more masculine was headed down the road, his bright coat gleamed in the sunlight, and the sword that lay across his left thigh was easily seen. Shawchert had changed greatly since the fight for his family. The family that had been slaughtered before he could even get there. The sight of his mother's lifeless eyes was the worst of all things that could happen to him, it had reminded him of Demetrius, and they were both devistating. It was the ghost of his son that had gotten him out of his trance so quickly, and now Shaw felt that he needed to be home. To find his friends protect them and make sure Cercatori never saw the day a murderer would take any of their lives. He saw the woman on the porch, and she seemed deep in thought. His love for her grew as it had never done before. He couldn't imagine as he saw the woman sitting there.

He didn't know what to do, so he moved closer and kneeled on both knees drooping his head. He had returned, but to what? Sky.... He said quietly to her, though it was slightly hard to hear as he spoke. He was ready for an attack, but he would allow this, knowing he deserved anything she threw at him.
