Her paws pounded agaisnt the almost black forest floor. The air wooshed by her, sending her nose trillions of scents from the scent of a fallen leaf to the scent of the oncoming winter. Her artic pelt was slender, beautiful, sleek, a snowy, cotton, marshmellow white. Her ears where sticking straight up, listening for the tiniest sound of a crunch of grass. Her eyes bolting around from side to side, looking for the slightest, tiniest movement. Her nose twitched with all the scents hitting it, identifying each and every thing without looking at it. Her tongue lolled inside her mouth, going over and over her sharp canines, ready to tear into anything and everything if needed. Her paws felt the earthy floor rushing by underneath her, like as if she was running on a dirt covered sphear. She was running for the exhilaration of it. The adrenaline of it. The happiness of it. She loved life, even she was alone at the time. She loved everything about it. She loved being a wolf.

Her chest heaved up and down, her stubby little paws almost tripping over themselves, her ears lay flat agaisnt her scull, her eyesight blurred by tears. She ran swiftly through the snow, like the wind itself, being unseen, unnoticed, and only her paw prints to leave evidence of her ever being present there. She heard her fathers snarls and howls of fustration. She felt the vibration of her father's maddened paws behind her, and she suddenly was running like she had never ran before. She put on an extra boost of speed, her chest starting to heave faster, her heart pouncing around crazily in her chest. Her paws wanted to give out from beneath her, but she kept on. The images of her father coming at her, muzzle caked with her siblings and mother's blood, canines stained blood-red, flashed across her mind, making her dizzy and almost tumble muzzle- first into the snowy ground at full speed. She caught herself, and kept going. She heard her father's mad paws get fainter and fainter. She heard his snarls and howls of blood-lust rampage. Then, it all became a thing of a past, never to be returned to again. The wind wooshed by her, her nose twitched, searching for any kinds of danger. Her tiny pup paws running as fast as they could, acting like they where full grown adult paws, he ears now perked up, listening for anything and everything. Tears running down from her icey blue eyes, down to the bottom of her muzzle. She was running from what was her family. She was running from her past. She was running from her memories. She was running from herself.
