Ouija was quite some distance away from Anathema but he couldn't find that to bother him in the slightest. He had been spending more and more time away lately. None ever seemed to notice though. Or if they did then they didn't seem to care. And if they didn't care then why should he? What reason did he have to worry about his time away should the pack show no concern over it? He had been keeping to himself and staying on top of his tasks. He continued to practice the things that he was taught in the cult. Actually he was out and away from Anathema because he was seeking to collect things to work on. Namely he was looking for some natural colors to gather up and brew so that he could freshen himself up since a few patches had started to fade. It was simply something that he kept on top of since plant life had started blossoming to where he could use thing. He even planned on storing things away for winter use as well. He didn't want to go without his precious color as he had to do the winter before.

Since he was away from Anathema he had his satchel with him because it made it easier to transport whatever it was that he found. For now that seemed to be an assortment of flowers. He picked them carefully and eased them into the deer hide satchel that he had made for himself. He planned on boiling the colors out of them once he got back to Anathema. It would be something to do while he was in the caves. His friend had left and so there was no longer someone that he shared the den with in order to sit up and talk to. He chose to make up for that by involving himself in his work and losing himself to doing whatever task he felt needed to be completed at the time.

A noise from the nearby forest had caused him to look up and focus through the trees. It took a couple of sweeps before he was able to locate the four legged animal moving about. It was something that he had seen before but had never had the pleasure of capturing himself. The pelt of the wolverine was something he desired. It was most certainly remarkable and he could think of one canine that would enjoy having it other than himself. But for now the large male remained still and silent from his place atop the low rise of the hill, his satchel seated on the ground next to where he sat. He doubted that he could get down there and capture the vicious prey animal before it could disappear. And it was that realization that didn't have him moving but just sitting still and watching. Maybe if it ducked into a burrow then he would know where to find it later at least. Or even find more should they live in groups.
