This is assuming that Ezra gets pretty beat up in this thread, and assuming Annan tells Ezra about Haven. Also, if this thread goes well, Ezra gets to be an esquire! Yay! Super short because I suck.
The Duke’s bruises and cuts had healed nicely since his encounter with Annan. The male found himself fighting and practicing in the grounds a lot since that interaction, determined to do better. He found himself in optime form more and more so that he could practice fighting. His obsession was growing. He wanted to be useful, and he wanted to protect the wolves he so dearly loved. Ezra wanted to be a needed member of the pack. The past year he had done nothing of value and was sick of his idleness.
Haven was the man to be found. Ezra trekked to the area where Ever told him he might be; Ever and Haven were familiar because they both frequented the stables. His home was on the beach as well, so the bungalow wasn’t hard too hard to find. Perhaps Haven would teach him the finer points of combat and how to defend himself. Ezra was excited for the new opportunity waiting for him behind the knight’s door.
