Again and again, she scolded herself for her behaviour. It was disgusting, revolting, and simply wrong for her to be acting and even feeling the way she did. When he spoke, her heart thudded in her chest and she paid him attention, as she stood beside him she blushed and became child-like and shy; her overly-masculine, self dependent persona locked deep away, leaving her weak and defenceless to the new assault of emotions she had. Her mind was it’s own battle field; her tomboy self all suited in armour trying to fight of an army of hers.. all dressed up in dresses, long hair and makeup. No matter how much her mind screamed to move away from the man beside, no matter how much she wanted to start a fight with him and get the heck away from him, she continued to follow the pace he set, continued to blush and continued to silently enjoy herself. She was a jumble of emotional contradictions and clashing wants.
Saluce asked her a question and her eyes flashed up to his face. Crap, what did he ask? Her eyes narrowed as she realized that at some point she and the mountain of a man had ended up closer together. Her mind declared war on her body once more as both sides began to freak out over the matter of being close to him. “Um, sure” she mumbled, to preoccupied to care what he’d asked.
