It would take another shape, no doubt, and perhaps this one would be more open to her charms than Itachi Lykoi. Perhaps she could kill him and hurry things along. Why had she even wanted him in the first place? He was so young -- barely more than a child. Eris required a man of musculature and age -- Larkspur was her physical notion of perfection, after all.

She did not have a relationship with this one like she did with Tlantli. The sable she-wolf gazed at her companion, chartreuse eyes drained of all lust. Now, they were the slitted eyes of a snake, predatory and cold as he managed to make his entire face. Would he affirm his loyalty to Salsola, further his insult to her, or some yet unknown action? She could predict him no more than she could predict the weather for this day next year.
