He's just gonna watch for a while.
His ears twitched to the call, not because he knew (nor cared about) the couple who would be undergoing the rites that would take place, but because he felt a unusual need to care for the snow white Angela. The months of her condition were coming to a close — it was in the closing moments that he expected her to need the most help. There was no tie keeping him at her side, nor was there a reason for him to be invested in her care, but as the eldest male in her entourage (and clearly the most level-headed, what with all of this talk of love about), he felt undesired responsibility. It was responsibility all the same, and it was this that drove him from his den to the surface with the call of the white female — the desire to ensure she was helped. In the past, he had come to realize that love, whatever it was, made the minds of others selfish.
Crimson eyes preceded his presence, the gaze falling onto the fire-lighted pelt of the pregnant D'Angelo while his faintly silvered jaws remained closed. It seemed no one else had come just yet, but he expected them to be along soon. Hands clasping behind his back, he remained on the borders of Maxia Negra, watching with diligent eyes to ensure nothing went wrong with the pale-pelted woman as she professed blessing over two more souls.
