Again, just ignore Ravesque -- he's quiet again and the post is rambly thoughts.
The hulking form of Ravesque Acidic was a silent figure in the background as others came forward, all unfamiliar faces save the beautiful Queen. He didn't care about them. He wasn't there for them, not like the rest were, and so he didn't bother to try and find the 'happy couple' who were pledging their fake, ephemeral love to one another. His disdain for emotional things was not unknown, at least not to those who knew him well — tangible proof was necessary for something to be real, and the idea of a bond based purely on the commonly accepted (and idiotic) idea that one could love another with emotion alone was foolhardy.
Naniko's voice drew him from his silent moment in his own head, red eyes finding the white figure of the Angela as she explained why they were there. As the ceremony went on, he spoke no words. He offered no congratulations. There was no reason to speak — he had come to ensure Naniko remained well, as he had started to do for days. As she came to the end of her pregnancy, his stress grew. Why she wouldn't just sit down and relax was beyond him. Everything could wait. It was inconsiderate of the underlings to think that their lives, their desire to be so stupidly bound to each other, came before the health of the woman he cared for. But it was not his place to complain, not to ruin what was probably supposed to be a happy day. Still, he waited for the worst — and if something happened to Naniko because of her desire to do everything, he would make sure that the rest of the pack suffered with her.
