When Gemma arrived, Teo's heart broke. It didn't ruin the happy buzz he had, luckily, else he'd have run out that moment just from the look in the white angel's eyes, that well hidden sadness. She complimented his appearance, cheering him on and wishing him luck in her own way... but he still felt that pang of hurt... not for himself but for her. He opened his mouth to speak but just as he did, Alaki arrived (fashionably late, in the albino's opinion) with a hug, a quick one. Then he stood beside Matteo giving the boy a chance to flash Gemma a smile.
Thank you, Gemma. You have no idea how much you being here means to me. How sorry I am for doing this to you... He paused for a moment before whimpering rather pathetically and wrapping her up in a firm (albiet friendly) hug, tail waving behind him.
Softly, as he swayed them in that comical sort of hug, he took a quick moment to share some of his thoughts with her, just low enough so no one else would hear. You look amazing in that dress ... e io ti amo. He leaned back to 'kiss' her cheeks and then, with a very well worn smile (that wasn't entirely real, though mostly true) he waved and then turned to Alaki to grab his arm...
...just in time for Naniko to announce the ceremony starting. Instantly Matteo was tugging Alaki along by the taller male's hand, pausing only as he noticed the timid Kase on the sidelines. The male got an excited grin and a quick wave before the pair continued forward for the ceremony. As they performed the ceremony, coals and all, Teo couldn't help but imagine his future, regret his past and figit whenever he stood still. He winced slightly when the blood touched his fur, dreading the stain it would leave but adoring the meaning behind it. The two charms came next and Teo lowered his head as his were slipped around his neck, closing his eyes and holding back a whimper of impatience.
He'd worked himself up! By the time Naniko had finished the ceremony, the boy's tail was too tired to wag very quickly, his voice refusing to work even after it was okay to speak again. Quickly, before the small group came to 'mob' them like at Demi's ceremony, Teo turned and snuck a quick 'kiss' to Alaki's mouth, too excited to spare his poor mate the public affection. Love you. He murmured quickly before turning to face the party.
