It seemed as if the Utina's confrontation sparked the bravery of others from the Great Tribe in tandem, although the threat of treason was assuaged by the apologies given by another Utina and an Amara--probably more so by the Amara, since it took loyalty to the Great Tribe for her to speak for Chief Aatu and against her own brother, as he had gathered previously. Instead of speaking himself, Shadi stepped forward after being given a nod from the great black wolf. The grey female answered them instead.

"It's all as Maska said," she began, her hackles never lowering until the others did. She, like Wematin, was dominant above these other AniWayans, as she was a part of the Galonv Adagatiya, who only answered to the Chief of the Great Tribe and those he ordered them to obey. They were the Raven Guardians; the Shadow Warriors; and they would assert themselves as such. "Dawali Amara was never chosen by the spirits and assumed the title of Kalona without preamble. To do such a thing is treasonous in itself, and warrants his punishment without any further need of explanation. It wasn't until recently that Chief Aatu received knowledge of the situation's true severity, and thus has taken him so long to act." The woman's deep but smooth voice was eloquent, as Wematin knew it was, and he drew himself upward in affirmation of her words. "We of the Great Tribe are a great distance away, and it was only recently that the spirits felt a disturbance in the balance--a sign that Dawali had overstepped his bounds of going from a temporary leader to assuming the leadership that was not rightfully his. Thus Chief Aatu sent Maska here to remedy the situation. And I can promise you, Shadi said with a lower tone, "that all transgressions will be remedied."
