Before the tall Austral could react to the attack, one the Maska's pets had him on the floor in a lock with the more badly damaged of his two arms twisted up behind his back in an agonizing position that tore several of the bandages, re-pulled open the wounds on his face and neck and sent shards of excruciating pain through the stitched up gashes in his stomach. One side of his face pressed into the ground and his free white eye stared back into the guardian's angry face. True to his nature though the gentle giant did not back down but simply stared back, all fury and contained aggression. Had he not been grievously injured the man would have stood a fighting chance of at the very least giving a go of fighting back against his oppressor, as it was he could do nothing as his body sent him pain from all angles and he began to loose the feeling in his arm and shoulder. Ralla's subtle attempt to plead with the man pinning him down was seen and gratefulness was felt that the white woman would stick her neck out to try and protect him. But he wanted no trouble to come to her so his eyes ordered her as a friend to step away from the situation, it would only be to her detriment to intervene for she had young children to look after and could ill afford to be punished or exiled.

Analise ever defensive of her father began to growl at the guardian and display her teeth, however she was silenced by his own words, hissed through clenched teeth. "Tranquilo chicka." The girl child hushed up quickly and moved away from the scene, she knew not to mess about at a time like this. It was lucky for León that Wematin's attention was pulled onto others who had begun to speak out as well, or the attempt at teaching León a lesson could have very well escalated into a full punishment before the assembled tribe members. The guardian let him go as he yanked his arm away and rose to his feet, fists clenched at his sides. The attempt at physical domination did not intimidate him. He would not give the bastard the satisfaction of seeing how much he was suffering. Blood trickled slowly down his face but he ignored it and instead looked down at his stitches a grimaced, they looked like they were coming loose.

Father and daughter walked away together, asking no permission to leave or forgiveness. Only when they were out of earshot of the gathering did Analise violate her father's order of silence and growled in a tongue not native to either of them,

"Dsinec gonha tarak tuk mah brotunistana." A curse upon your soul, blackened one." At the words, the man looked at her sharply with anger clear on his face and snarled. She knew how he felt about her using that tongue, the child whimpered in apology and lowered her ears, he nodded sharply, lesson learned.
