She was glad when the pup began to breath again and coughed up a load of seawater, the woman shook herself to get the water out of her fur, only now was she amazed that she had actually gone into it, the first time in her life she had ever been fully submerged in water. He wriggle in her paws so she set him down on the floor, then he came back with a classic pup wanting for food, even after just almost drowning. She chuckled to herself and watched him as he wandered around looking lost and confused and wondered where he could have come from and who his parents were.
However her ears pulled back and her tail quit wagging slowly as the little pup came to lay in front of her and cry, explaining he hadn't eaten or drunk for a while and revealing that his mother was dead. She frowned and stroked his neck, feeling a twinge of kinship with the small pup, Jace had lost her own mother at a much older age yet she was sure the sting of it did not diminish with age. She comforted him while he cried for his lost mother, mentally wishing she could see hers again.
When he expressed a wanting for food and drink again she shifted into her Secui form and stretched out her limbs,
"Okay Zaine, lets see if we can find you some food."
