UHM, that moose scene is really badly written. Sorry. YAY FOR FACIAL MUTILATION AT THE HANDS OF ANIMALS! Now I get to pick out what teeth Ravesque is missing. >:3 What a macho guy. +5 points.

His morning had been simple enough — there wasn't truly anything he had to do, and that left him with ample time to do what he felt was right: watching Naniko. The white Angela was a stubborn woman, but it further caused a the already discomforting sense of desire that was hidden in the pit of his stomach to grow twice over. He had told her before to rest, he had warned her it wasn't safe for her to wander so frequently as the end of the pregnancy came to a close. And she should have known, having been a mother before. But still, she was determined to maintain normalcy. Why? What was the difference if he catered to her, bringing her those initiates who sought them out or doing his job as a man — her man — and hunting for her? True enough that they had no real ties to each other, save a son that didn't suit either, but he had followed her from the ruins of one cult to be with her in the arms of another. Did that have no meaning to her, or was she simply ignorant?

Either way, it didn't matter — he'd do as he pleased regardless of if she appreciated him. Though time was lost to him beneath the surface of the ground, he felt he had a normal habit of sleep, and as he emerged from the caves and into the world, he found he was right. With sunlight bountiful, he underwent the task he wanted to finish first before going to find the white Goddess of Anathema. Strong body was carried across the earth in search of an antlered ungulate. Finding it was easier than he'd expected — of course, moose were hard to miss, with their significantly larger bodies than the quicker and smaller deer he often hunted. His figure grew tense, smaller and more alert as he watched the pair, a mother and her growing calf, gaze upon the growing grass. On two legs, hunting was awkward, but taking the time and effort to change would have lost him precious time and energy, and so it was on two legs that he charged.

The mother fled with more speed than her child, and it was the child that fell under the weight of the Acidic. He grappled the flanks of the cervidae creature, tripping over his awkward form and falling in time to receive a small, but powerful, kick to the side of his muzzle. The blood that filled his mouth was enough to frustrate the beast — his attacks became less accurate, but more deadly, and it wasn't long before the young moose took its last breath. Ravesque stood over the animal, seething, as the blood from whatever teeth had been smashed dripped lackadaisically onto the corpse. With the death came a calm in the man who had only moments ago been enraged — he'd done his task, and he slung the body over his shoulder to take it back to his Queen.

Finding Naniko was never hard, not in her condition, and it wasn't long before he caught sight of the resting woman — just as she decided to stand again. He grunted, spraying blood on the ground before him as he approached. Why couldn't she simply rest? What reason did she have for moving all of the time? "You know you need to take breaks, Naniko. Don't force me to lock you in your den." Each new word brought a fresh wave of pain that he ignored, dropping the rather heavy moose calf on the ground before her. Red eyes focused on opposing green, a shade that evoked recognized heat just below his navel. "I brought you a meal. Sit down and take a moment to yourself." Though it came out as a demand, Ravesque rarely meant for such things to happen — his apathy clouded inquiry.
