The Sword in the Stone

Shaw nodded as she spoke, he knew how she felt, though he had always practiced with his sword, he never wore it in the open nor did he openly practice, but he still had it, tucked away somewhere and would practice on the rare ocassion. Now that he had witnessed all he had, he'd become a master, though he knew everything he'd learned from his mother beforehand, when he was a young man, before he was exiled. Now he practiced every day before dawn and after dusk, and sometimes in between. At her suggestion, he put his hand on his hilt and smiled.

"It would not be fair, you are far to quick for an old man like me.... but I will accept your offer."

He pulled the sword for its leather sheath and held it up, it was nothing out of the ordinary, though it was well taken care of and by far one of the most shiniest things he had seen himself. He moved to a ready position, his tail high, and he watched Skye, a slight excited smile on his face.
