The Sword in the Stone
#8
Shawchert knew she would try to get away, but she also did something unexpected and possibly foolish, as she turned and held off his sword with her dagger. She was actually quite strong for what she looked and she pushed his sword away so she could get out of his range. He beamed at her as she moved around to his side, which to him was a bad thing for him. He was naturally slow, and turning was even more so. He had to move with her to keep up with her, and he hoped she didn't see that. He moved back out of her reach, so he could anticipate any of her moves, watching for an opening. He was not passive for long however, and he lunged at her trying to keep a good distance from her, side swiping at her side, knowing it would not land but it would give him a possible opening.
