It was kind of awkward, with her gazing at him with those big eyes of hers, as though looking for something she could not find. He almost stepped back, but held back the urge. Silvano met her gaze solemnly, even as she silently moved toward him, and placed a hand on his chest. He stiffened slightly, neck hairs rising at the touch. It was surprise only, simply because he thought she was not about anything like that. She was a hugger, that much he could tell of her, but this was not a careless, carefree hug. Where her hand met his chest, his skin grew warm. But before he could cover her hand with his own -purely instinctual on his part- she pulled away from him.
Now, he was hurt. She kept trying to convince both of them that it had not been real. And that hurt. Did she hate him so much that she could not accept what had happened. Giselle should have just told him what she felt and apologize to him, rather than do this so cruelly. "It was real..," he said quietly, feeling anger and sadness stiffening his limbs. Silvano leaned on the railing, arms straight and tight as he clenched his support. He glanced at her, eyes full of hurt. "Why do you think it wasn't real? What did I do to make you dislike me like this?" His voice, which had gone lower since he had grown into his height, age, and frame. But it was still in the middle range, tenor. Nothing low. He could hardly pull off a sultry whisper. Regardless, it was full of pain now.
