Sorry for the delay! I was on vacation. :3

The silence was pleasant and soothing around them, it pleased Parker greatly. She felt it like her very pulse and was appreciative that Charm didn't feel the need to break it. So many wolves just wanted to chat it up and she didn't particularly like to do that. Mostly because so much could be communicated with silence and the appreciation of the ability one's body had to articulate the same things that words could. Parker had expressed that she didn't want any rabbit and had thanked the darker female, all without saying a word. This kind of seamless interaction was lost amid the more "cultured" world of those who spoke all the time.

The girl half-turned when she heard pawsteps behind her. Apparently Charm was going to accompany her, which was just fine with the sunshiney girl. Quiet though she might be, the Sadira girl did actually enjoy company as well as her solitude. So it was that she slowed a bit to end up walking side-by-side with the Sawtooth wolf. She wagged her tail and kept her pace at a good one that they both could match easily. The water wasn't too far away. Perhaps Charm could eat her rabbit there, then wash off herself. In hindsight, that might have been a lot more efficient for the blond female as well. Ah, well, hindsight is always 20/20.

As they drew near to the creek, she smiled wide and began to bound forward happily. She was excited to be clean and well-groomed again, so she didn't really pay attention to what Charm was doing. Though she would be glad if her new companion was rushing to the water as well, she figured that the other female would eat first. Parker was too impatient to be clean, though, and wagged her tail delightedly as she splashed into the water. Only then did she turn to see what Charm was up to.
